During the present Public Health Emergency the work of the Lieutenancy has been curtailed.

-Citizenship Ceremonies have resumed with the Lord Lieutenants conducting same remotely with a shorter ceremony.

– Investitures in Hillshorough Castle have been suspended until further notice.

– A reduced number of Royal Visits are currently taking place in a manner that is socially distanced and otherwise Covid-19 Regulations compliant.

– A reduced number of Lord-Lieutenant’s visits and attendances at functions with the Armed Forces, including the Reserve Forces, businesses, schools, voluntary organisations are currently taking place in a manner that is socially distanced and otherwise Covid-19 Regulations compliant.

-100th Birthdays and 60th Wedding Anniversary Visits to the individuals by the Lieutenancy are taking place in a manner that is socially distanced and otherwise Covid-19 Regulations compliant.

-The Lord-Lieutenant, the Vice Lord-Lieutenant and her Deputies are also working from home, dealing with requests for information, help with individual honours nominations and input for Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service and Queen’s Award for Enterprise.

The Lieutenancy is also working on plans for future events and Visits in so far as the Emergency allows.
