The King and Queen carried out a number of engagements on their visit to the North West in late March 2025.

Crowds lined the street of Limavady as they visited the Roe Valley Arts Centre, where they were welcomed by the renowned artist, Ross Wilson DL.

In the Arts Centre there were arts and crafts makers, representatives of the Steinbeck Festival and musicians from Conductology a group of non and learning disabled young people.

And there was a timely visit also to Hunters Baker as it celebrated its 200th anniversary.  So cakes were cut and pancakes flipped! – just a few of the elements of their visit to the town that made for a very special occasion.

The previous day The King had visited the University of Ulster Coleraine Campus to see the research work being done on stimulus-responsive therapeutic systems for cancer.
