The County Londonderry Lieutenancy, at the invitation of the respective Branches of the Royal British Legion, attended Services of Remembrance at the following Towns and Villages on Remembrance Sunday 2021:
Coleraine, Limavady, Magherafelt, Castledawson, Tobermore, Upperlands, Aghadowey, Kilrea, Maghera, Garvagh, Portstewart and Castlerock.
Because of the Covid Emergency constraints in 2020 and this year being the 100th Anniversary of the Royal British Legion there were large numbers in attendance at each War Memorial. In particular in Coleraine many wreaths were laid and crosses placed by members of the public. The Lord-Lieutenant,Mrs Alison Millar, was present at Coleraine to lay the first wreath upon behalf of Her Majesty The Queen.
