Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal, made a visit to Draperstown on January 17th 2020, the first time she has visited this part of the County. On a cold but bright morning she spent several hours meeting people involved in the Draperstown Workspace – a local initiative that helps local businesses and the community.

Commenting on the visit, a representative from Workspace said “We welcomed HRH, the Princess Royal to our site in Draperstown yesterday. We were selected to host this visit from Princess Anne in recognition of the significant impact we have on the community of Draperstown. As well as meeting Workspace staff and directors, who told her about our various businesses and initiatives, Princess Anne met representatives from a number of local community organisations such as S.T.E.P.S., Ballinascreen Men’s Shed, Ballinascreen Historical Society and Glasgowbury who have all significantly benefited from our support.
