The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, as part of a two day visit to Northern Ireland in July, pulled up in great style on a steam train at the new Bellarena Railway Station platform. Here, in front of a large crowd of officials and well-wishers, she unveiled a plaque to mark the newly refurbished Londonderry to Belfast line.
